oh i love the first sls! I liked it from the first time I saw it! a very good looking photo... mine is not in the poll again but i didn't think it was so good to be in the top anyway... Very nice pics all of you with a great theme!

The first C63 image and the Merc burnout logo shot are amazing! The first got my vote.

The Audi sillhouette is a good idea but the sunset textures are absolutely horrific. Everyone seems to be ignoring that, mind....

Went for the clean, reality look. No votes, but I think people might be offended that the French Oreca R8 is nosing ahead of the Factory car.

Made the poll, so I'm 3/4 for competitions I've entered. I guess I should enter more often, but if I don't get a shot I'm happy with I usually don't bother.

Voting was actually really easy for me on this one, there was 1 picture that instantly grabbed me. It's not winning, nor is the one I would've picked 2nd, but it was the best in my eyes.

And it's still beating my picture which has a big fat "0" in the voting column

#31 - Red Golf GTi

I think you mean composition, Jamie.
Composure means: serene, self-controlled state of mind; calmness; tranquillity.

I have to disagree though, all of those you listed are visually well balanced to my eyes. The red Golf especially is a nice close up that works well.

The M5 one looked rushed in my view, because half of the shot is cut off. Along with that, I feel portait doesn't suit panning that much, compared to landscape.


What I think, would make the Golf GTi shot better:

If it was in landscape format.

I was comparing your shot to the rest of the poll, along with that your shot would be better in landscape. Because I feel it would be more menacing.


Final Thoughts:

My suggestion doesn't mean your shot is poor, but it could be much better on the whole.

You do realize the car is siting in the middle of a giant Mercedes emblem burnout, right?

I agree with the BMW shot, cool idea, but the car is cut off in a odd spot - clipped the corner of the windshield and a bit of the mirror....

The Golf - I just don't see it at all? No offense DM, it has 'composure', and obviously several other people get it, just not me.

People have to realize that this is all very subjective.

One can argue and discuss, obviously, but only up to a point. 👍
