Amazing shot Kyle, everything about it is just perfect. Congrats, this one I expect you will win. :)

Wow! I have actually made it this far. Its been a really great time. Thanks to all who have made this happen: the organiser, the participants and especially the voters. And damn, its so hard to vote. :ouch:

I wouldn't be so sure, Nato! Looks like it's gonna be another close one, though. Exciting . I knew you'd be bringing a Standard :P.

Gotta say, I'm really impressed by the PMC finalists - two incredible shots, the both of you. Goes to show what can be accomplished with zero post-game editing 👍

Will there be another tournament season this year? Obviously I would have liked to get further but it was fun just to watch

Agree, the quality of the final is through the roof!

Probably. ;)

All 4 shots in this poll are amazing. Really feel great to compete against you Kaede 👍

Hope everyone enjoy the shots in this poll and thanks gtplanet to provide us a space to compete against each other :gtpflag:

Congratulations Kyle - I couldn't think of a more worthy winner for the 2.0 Tournament this season. I knew I was in trouble the moment I saw your entry, it has that classic SlipZ special something about it. Such a vibrant and crisp shot yet has that silky smooth toning that makes the image at the same time both sharp and soft - I don't know how you do it.
It's been an honor to make it this far and compete with the best. :)
Thanks for the votes - I'm glad the final was as competitive as it was, and though I'm a little disappointed to stumble at the final hurdle, I'm also stoked with 2nd place.

Nato

:embarrassed:

Wow, thank you, Nathan - you've always been the master of cleaning up the Standards in GT5, but more recently your editing has taking on a whole new "standard" of quality as well. I knew you'd bring a cleaned up car, as I mentioned earlier, but I love the tone of the image as well - the early hours of a warm morning, some dedicated soul already wringing out that last bit of grip from an old car, even echoing some old classic touring car footage with a lifted tire. It's brilliant :D

Thank you too, to everyone who voted, for either image - you all made it a nail-biter! I'll admit to being a bit worried with the initial first 24 hours of voting, where I was tailing by fair amounts: this was actually the first shot I was truly proud of in this tournament (past the qualifier, which was a lucky editing method I can't seem to reproduce)! I really wanted to emulate the fantastic chase shots in magazines like Evo, and wanted Mt. Aso to look, well... not like Aso! Plus, I figured two cars would be a bit unexpected, considering the amount of ire those sorts of themes draw :P .

Thanks as always to Luis for hosting absolutely without a hitch again - he's the best man for the job. And thanks to mazda787, hgrf93, zambuca, and Nato for some great rivalries

Lastly - I never announced it during the run of the Tournament, but as I'm feeling in a giving mood, I'd like to award a year's Premium to ijkhk4 for his win. He also grabbed the most votes each round. Expect your red name within a few days, sir, for a job well done :)

EDIT - Oh, and yes, this week's threads will be up. Shortly :P

Congratulations to ijkhk4. It was so exciting, right to the last moment. So close. :scared: Congratulations to Kyle too. Really hard to make a choice between the 2 of you.
