Clutch idea...

I was thinking that if anyone wanted to make a custom clutch, they could do it maybe like this...

If somehow you could break the circuit then have the clutch complete the circuit whenever you depressed it for the gear shifter. The gear shifter's circuit would be complete and work when you had the clutch depressed. Then clutch, when let out, would then break the circuit and the shifter wouldn't work. I'm not exactly sure how much work this would take, but I would imagine that it'd take a little more than just a few minutes.

that's what many have done before. one thing to note though is that this what is refered to as a 'digital' clutch (on or off). i think people are on to trying to make anolog clutch's (like the real thing). out of like sliding pots and hacking ds2 anolog thumb controls.
