???

Is the clutch on the g25 useful? Does it make drifting easier like in realife for gt5p or is it there just to make it seem more realistic??

it helps fling the back end out of the car if thats what u mean, try pressing the clutch before turning into the corner and releasing just as your entering it.

Well it does curently assist drifter's by sending a shock of power through the drivetrain to the rear wheel's, this snaps the back out pretty quick if you turn in and hit the corner at the right angle.;)
But the clutch has no travel in GT5P, what I mean by that is that it is not 'rideable' and is an on/off system right now.
Also flat-changin is not possible either. On my thoughts on the damage that can be caused by no-lift shifting; in GT5 damage will make it possible so that if you change wrong in a car that can't handle your inputs then it will break down in some way. Only Race Car's that are designed to be flat-changed would be able take the pressure without blowing up the Gearbox. Or you could be allowed to 'no-lift-shift at your own risk' sort of thing.

I'am hoping that when GT5 is released both travel to the clutch and flat-chaing will be made possible.:)👍

You're wrong, the Clutch in GT5P is pressure sensitive, I was driving my F-430 and I was awed to find that the clutch is pressure sensitive.

ummmm no he is not wrong. How did you "find" that the clutch was pressure sensitive??? Especially due to the fact that it is just a "switch".

Because it is NOT just a switch, that why. You can lean the clutch out, go try it. You shouldnt be so rude, especially when YOU are wrong.

Yea I think it actually has a bite point and works like a proper clutch rather than just on/off.

It has got a biting point, it is just small. Good way to test is put the car in a tall gear while at a stand still (4th, 5th whatever) then be delicate with the clutch and you can easily slip it enough to get the car going.

In real life this would leave you with a huge cloud of destroyed clutch smoke but thats not a factor in GT5P. :)

Well in comparing the functionality of the clutch from GT5P to real life, I would say there's are.... quite a bit of difference. It would be nice to see that 'bite zone' expanded a little.;)👍
