History:
In 2004 a Jaguar enthusiast approached Classic Motor Cars Limited (CMC) about creating a car that recreates the golden age of sports cars (1950s-1960s). The car was given period Jaguar engine, transmission, suspension, disc breaks, and instruments. The design was based off of many cars of the 1950s and 60s including the Maserati 300, Aston Martin DB3, and Jaguar XKSS.

Specs:
Body: Handmade aluminum from CMC
Weight: 865kg (1,906lbs)
Engine: 320bhp 4.7L Jaguar XK straight-6 with three Weber carburetors with modifications from Rob Beere Racing
Transmission: All-syncromesh 5-speed Temec manual with limited-slip differential
Front suspension: Modified Jaguar independent with adjustable anti-roll bar
Rear suspension: Modified Jaguar independent
Brakes: Non-assisted; ventilated front discs and solid rear discs
Wheels: Borrani-styled 16-inch aluminum with stainless steel spokes

So who made it? Only there's not a Jaguar badge on the car, but you have Jaguar as the make.

Every website I've looked at includes Jaguar as the maker. It was built by CMC but has all Jaguar parts.

Yet there's zero Jaguar badging - with "MPH Bridgnorth England" appearing where you'd expect Jaguar branding and logos - and I doubt Jaguar would be too happy at it being called a Jaguar either since it doesn't seem to have been involved in the design or construction.

Indeed it has just popped up for auction, listed as "CMC Jaguar" - but I've seen it listed as MPH-Jaguar (MPH are the initials of the chap who had it commissioned) in road tests.

I'd go for "CMC MPH-Jaguar 2004"

I'll do that. I kind of feel that the name is laid out similar to the Lister-Jaguar in the sense that it has an Jaguar mechanical aspect but was put together and designed by another company.
