we're waiting for the PS4
fishtailrook1 (?)
having played GT2 for so long (5 YEARS!), i've done some code hacking, etc. I'd like to exchange some bits and peices with you all so I can enhance my own experience...before my old PSX (1st gen!) burns out.

one of the things I'm looking for is the VAUXHALL model codes from the brits, if any, with GT2...they seem to have left the Vaux models in the game even in america's version.

If your Hacking why can't you find the Vauxhalls?

Car Base Code 1-801CCFB8
Car Base Code 2-801CCFBA

Let me know if the correct Base code is for your version, I have all version base codes to get your version to work!

I have most of those. thanks for the race mod Prius...i was gonna ask you about that one! :D

the BRITISH version is the only one that gives general access to the Vauxallversion of the corsa/astra/tigra/vectra...even american's get the opel labeled ones...as we never had the Vaux label in the US.

oh...think I get you now...I haven't played with the "body shell" memory sites very often

there's supposed to be a GTI version of the Polo, according to the literature with the car.

here's your exchange code to start

Used Lot entrys (use this instead of 801ccfb8): 800b9320...this puts you at the start of the Honda used lot. they're in alphabetical order top to bottom, the 1b labeled ones above the honda (manuf hex # 12) are the dihatsus

bonus: look at the bottom of the honda used list...they for got to remove the HONDA labeled NSX's and an integra R

Eurolamp Integra R: 8718 124d
90 NSX: d898 1261
92 NSX type R: d718 1261

these are fully tuneable and have race conversions. they're worth hacking in

Has anybody tried the tires modification? What sort of numbers should be put into the code and what effect does it have on the car in question?

Hybrid, I'm sure you have done this. Is it worth messing with or do you have to extend the size massively to get any sort of change?

I have the old "tractor Tires" code from a previous Gran Turismo fan site...I'd have to get them off my Shark, but you could try em out...my copy of GT2 is pretty worn out, and needs Skip Doctored

btw...the Vauxhall codes worked fine, but they're completely untuneable. so, I did this: bought the Opel original, tuned the piss out of it, then changed the serial coding at the car list (801ccfb8) to get the Vaux version. the only difference is the wheel designs and the grill, p-lus it substitiutes the Vaux logo on the Race conversions. btw, there are TWO serials to alter to get it right, not just the first one at the previously mentioned mem site.
I also located the serial for Vaux's version of the Corsa (substitute oc80 with the original corsa front half of the code)

Do you want really big tires which you can't save to your memory card? Or do you want tires from another car to have a larger Rim size on a smaller car which is also memory card savable? If so let me know which version of the game you have and it's not a problem!

Certainly not the first so probably the second. I have codes for tire height and width but I'm not sure what sort of numbers should be put into them? I also can't find any details about tires when viewing the car details in the garage.

Put the code below for a HUGE tire code, It's only good for replays!

ffff :scared:

Let me know if you want wheel sizes from another car, that's possible also and they look good when you stuff the wheel wail like a Cobra!👍

Can you let me have a list of the tire sizes from different cars, or do you just check them before putting them on another car? What do you mean: -

Whats a wheel wail?

In the US we call the Wheel wail the area where the The Body of the car fits directly around the wheel! What version of GT2 do you have so I can get you a few tire codes?

a little suggestion. if you managed to locate the "car serials" in your version of the game, take something tiny, like a little Dihatsu or the Honda beat, and do a 'bought as race conversion". you should see the little beat running around on 16-17 inch rims :P

I think 1.2 but it is the PAL version.
Try this HoresPower Multiplyer code first, Just so I make sure we got the correct game disc, It should ad tons of HP to the car in the first garage slot, Let me know!!!
