Ok - rented this tonight.
Disappointed - looks okay and moves pretty well, handling's okay - but if you've got WRC and CMR2 for the PC, it's nothing you haven't driven or seen before.
There are some nice touches - you can get a lot further into the environments, and hit interesting things like tractors, and it's nice to see hitting the red and white striped plastic ribbons defining the course isn't the same as hitting a tree - you sail straight through them, much like you would in real life, straight into that rock behind the ribbon.
Bad news if you have a GT Force wheel - whilst the wheel works, you'll be changing gears with the A & B buttons on the front of the wheel (no paddles for you), and you have to remember to select the options to start the stage with the wheel buttons, otherwise it's the DS2 for you. Pain in the arse.
Tip - get CMR2 for your high end PC, or wait for WRC2 Extreme.
