College Basketball: What Is/Are Your Favorite Rivalry/Rivalries?

GTPlanet, this is the basketball version of a question I asked in the Footbal forums with college football. It's different with this thread because this is open to different rivalries from different teams not found in today's college football. It even includes some teams who aren't as big as they are in football, or even teams who aren't as big in basketball as they are in football. Some examples of such college basketball rivalries not found in football include the following:

Cincinatti vs. Xavier
Gonzaga vs. Peppderdine
Gonzaga vs. Washington
Temple vs. Saint Joseph's
Syracuse vs. Georgetown
Maryland vs. Duke

So what is your favorite rivalry in college basketball? I'll start.

The obvious selection I'd make is Duke vs. North Carolina. In college hoops, these are two of the toughest teams in the nation. They are two storied programs. It is much like how Michigan and Ohio State have their big football rivalry, only that Duke and North Carolina are in the same state and not far from each other. Even in football, you can imagine how much these two want to beat each other down on any field or in any arena.

MD vs. DUKE

Maryland's my team, and I hate Duke. So... yeah.

Pitt. vs. Syracuse. I'm from Pittsburgh, and my dad's whole family is from Syracuse, so I always get excited to see the two teams play.

Pittsburgh came out on top this year.

Maryland's my team, and I hate Duke. So... yeah.

I'll have to go with that... (though i'm on the Duke side of things) They had some awesome games the past few years, even though Duke did get swept last season.
