GTPlanet, here's another college football thread. This time, allow me to ask who you think may one day return to the promised land. If not this season, then maybe within the next five. Now the criteria is different as far as who you wish to select. Either criteria will be fine:

[1] any team that has won the National Championship in the past and hasn't won in 5 to 10 years (meaning as far as this year, a team that was National Champions, but hasn't been champs since 1995-2000)

[2] any team that has been to at least one Bowl Game but never a contender for the National Title.

Now, your response can be for any football program from Division 1-A to Division 3. So your responses can vary between (for example) Michigan in Division 1-A, Montana in Division 1-AA, Grand Valley State in Division 2, or maybe even Linfield College in Division 3. You know, I make these threads to talk about more than just Division 1 football, so you're free to invite some Division 2 and Division 3 teams if you know any or attend a school for that program.

So, who may be likely to return to the promised land again, or who may get their first taste of being on top of American college football? Let's start!
