I absolutely love Colorado. The entire state is so beautiful! Hopefully I'll be taking a trip there in July.

It is beautiful here. I can't believe all there is to see. I have only been here three days so far and I have already done so much. I am busy for the rest of the week as well. I hope to see more fun places and get more photos.

I am staying in Monument, CO.

You're just south of Castle Rock then, where I've been many times. Had great grandparents that lived there for many years. You going to be traveling the state, or staying in the Monument area?

We drove around a lot of the state yesterday. We were gone for 13 hours. Driving and stopping here and there to take pictures. Some of the places I remember going... Twin Lakes, Hartsel, Buena Vista, Aspen, Glen Wood Springs... And lots of other places... Just don't know the names of them.

But I am staying in Monument, CO the whole time. We just go for very long drives and come home. Going to go to more places tonight and tomorrow.

I love Aspen and Glenwood. They are a short drive from Grand Junction so I went there all the time, especially Glenwood Canyon and Hanging Lake. Every spring around mid to late April I would take the loop from Grand Junction through Delta, through Paonia up and over the passes to Carbondale, Glenwood and then take I-70 back to GJ. Awesome drive, especially in a Miata.

Man, I want to visit Colorado! I've traveled to most of the states but have never been to Colorado. I was planning another Yellowstone trip for the summer. I might make a pit stop to Colorado as I'm going back to Cali though since its kind of on the way.

Depending on the area you stay in, you'll get this (in the west) or this (most of the state)

I really miss living there, I miss the trees and the perfect temperatures in the summer. I am however not a fan of cold weather, so I can already see myself being a snow bird when I retire.

We usually stay in the Breckenridge area when we go. I can never get over how awesome the scenery is!
