I currently use comfort hard tires but can not get much speed with them and using the comfort soft if I get more speed but I can not use this tires in competition.:grumpy:

How do get more speed with hard tires??

My favorite cars:
Skyline r32 gts-t (S)
Silvia S13 (P)
Commodore SS (S)
350Z (P)
Camaro SS 2010 (P)
Corvette ZR1 (P)

I have a friend that goes much faster than me and also using comfort hard, I just want to have good speed

i have the same problem, when im drifting with someone they always seem to get ahead. i thought maybe it was because i was drifting at a higher angle for longer and drifting corner to corner. the less i drift the easier it is to keep up.

Might be stepping in a minefield, but maybe your friend is not drifting enough, and is simply going too fast? Or it could be the kind of car they're using..fd rx7 zr1 and vipers are good for a lot of speed thru drifts..my personal solution is to simply lead...if your friend carries a lot of speed he should have no prob keeping up, or as I suspect, he's gonna have trouble not hitting you from the rear....lol

it all comes down to power and torque. The corvette will be the fastest because it has the most of both them. Also when you decide to shift makes a huge difference. A lot of the time when you are currently in a drift if your not gonna make it or are kind of slow shift up. Main thing is practice. Get your fav car and take it to your fav track to drift (in practice on drift mode full lap) and try to drift the whole thing meaning no mistakes, 100% smoke, and as many points as you can get without stopping.

he use a NSX

If he's using an NSX you have no hope really unless you're naturally fast, it's engine is positioned in the middle giving it more speed through the corners, either use an NSX like him or convert him to an FR.

In my experience comfort hards slide faster than softs, I use comfort softs on almost all my cars, but when I do use comfort hards I tend to drift more "slowly", but only because the lack of grip requires more precise throttle control. Try getting used to hards, so that you can begin throwing as much weight as you do on softs into the turns, that should increase the speed at which you slide.

Certain cars are just faster than others. The FD3S spirit R, The NSX, NSX-R, BMW Z4, and others I can't think of at the moment. My suggestion is to ask your friend to use a different car other than the ones I mentioned and you will have a much easier time keeping up.
