Coming from PS4. Will my wheel work?

I've decided to pick up an Xbox One X to finally try Forza, both Horizon and Motorsport.

I have a PS4 CSL Elite Wheel. Is there anything I can do to make it work on an Xbox or will I have to buy a new wheel and base altogether?

Thanks

This post says you may be able to reflash the base but it doesn't look hopeful unfortunately. Xbox uses a different driver model to PS and PC.

[EDIT] Tree'd by the guy above me, DriveHub definitely sounds like a better idea. Good luck and I hope you enjoy Forza and FH4.

I bought a DriveHub for my PS4 to connect an AIOLOG handbrake . It all worked but the FFB was way off on all the games I play as Dirt Rally 2.0 and Project Cars 2. When I plugged my Thrustmaster T-300 directly into my PS4 the FFB worked as it should. I ditched the DriveHub and hand brake are got a Thrustmaster Handbrake. I tried getting support from drivhub people and was refered to the setup page.

Sounds like you set it up wrong and it was trying to run as a Logitech G29. A T300 should be connected to the controller port and will work as if it was connected directly to the PS4, also did you update the Drivehub?

Thank you all for taking the time to reply. My drivehub is on the way and I’ll be able to see if my CSL Elite Wheel for PS4 will work on the Xbox One X. That’s also on the way.

All this just to play Forza Horizon and Forza 7. Hope they’re as much fun as I’ve heard

Forza Horizon is a celebration of cars. It's as Sim-Cady as it gets, but's is still fun. Play with the wheel settings, in game (advanced settings), and dial it in, until it feels good to you. I still go back and forth on FH4, between wheel and gamepad. I got wheel down for sprints and road racing, and I am okay at offroad and rally. But, if it's a drift challenge, I'm still grabbing my XB1 controller. I can't hold a drift to save my life with a wheel, yet.

Wow thats interesting. I had contacted the Drive Hub support and they referred me to there installation instructions which says to connect the wheel to the wheel/controller port , which I did. And I looked thru there site and did not see anything to say to connect the wheel anywhere else. Maybe I missed it. Also I did do the update on the firmware.
Thanks for you response. I did in the mean time purchase a Thrustmaster handbrake. Wish I would have know about this.

I guess the DH is primarily targeted at getting non compatible wheels working, but it also has the ability to add non compatible accessories for both compatible and non compatible wheels, I did find all this out on this forum via the Drivehub thread thou, not the instructions.
