So,
Following on from a post I saw in the photo thread - https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...thread-read-op-no-scapes.404928/post-13893497
My friend and I had been chatting about this as a concept to improve GT7 and agree that it has masses of potential.
The premise is this:
Users create, save and share custom races. These can be 'downloaded' through the Showcase section of the game. This would include every setting of the custom race, including all the opponent vehicles, liveries, setups etc. - Even driver names, so someone could create the original grids for those races.
Want to race classic Group As on Bathurst - but only have the RS500? No worries, find a community made race and away you go.
As an extension of this, the creation of custom championships within that which would allow you to either download a full championship that someone has created, or you can create a championship through a series of races you've chosen from the Showcase selection created by users.
I know that the first response is "But the payouts are terrible for custom races" - which is very true. This doesn't solve that, but it creates a much easier way for players to play a wider variety of races.
I can't see a down side to this, but figured I'd post it up here and elaborate on a great suggestion from member https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/members/a_higher_place.180843/ (sorry, not sure how to tag said member, but wanted to ensure they were acknowledged as the inspiration for this thread )
