Hey guys,

I'm getting some messages from multiple drivers about starting a WRS community I think it would be wise to let the stewards and moderators @Gravitron and @PASM take a look at this first before everyone starts making WRS clubs and unchaining a wildgrow of WRS clubs. Just show a little patience and give them the time to set it up the way they want it and it can be more beneficial to all of us.

But it would like it if people start discussing the up and downsides of it in this thread.

Cheers,

Kevin

Depending on how it works, it should be very useful for the online races.

True about what has been said. The adms and stewards will be very busy the next couple of days!

I haven't started up the game since the update, so I have no idea how it works, but if we could use it to set up random spot races, say on Saturday mornings for example, when I'm getting burned out on chasing my ghost, that would be great. I love short online races, but hate looking for good rooms.

having hard time joining

IE just spins when I search for the club ID
Chrome finds it but says "upload failed" when I try to join.

Not a big deal, I'll try again directly from PS3 tonight

I think it's Private. Having the same issues. Probably claiming the name and now figuring out what to do with it.

I'm guessing all the rooms will be opened through the club now, just got to wait for the invites to start flowing. Hopefully Bart won't have to do it all himself!

People still use Internet Explorer??? :D I'm 80% Firefox - 20% Opera (I used to use Chrome, but my wife has her settings all hooked up on the laptop, so I never use it anymore).

The Community Feature was one of the things I was most looking forward to. Quick Match was an epic fail because of the lack of cleanliness. Getting a good race going in a random Online Lobby was just that, random. Let's hope that this will solve all of those issues.

I joined from the PS3, but I had gotten an invitation from Bart. Had to use the ID, it wouldn't find it with the name! :odd:

It would have been cool if they made it so you could join directly from the invitation...

To be clear to everyone: Using the private GTP_WRS club tonight is too soon, it would take too long to get everyone joined up before the race start.

As Paul said, use the public GTPlanet club, everyone should be able to join. It's at the top of the GT6 main forum, or simply search for club ID 1000002.

IMHO the response has been great I just hope I didn't mow down the grass in front of the stewards and moderators with this thread. If so my sincere apologies this was diffidently not what I was looking for, just wanted to contain the wildfire.

If I did something wrong or it wasn't my place to post this thread please reply to me in a PM. Nothing but good intentions on my part. Just hoping I did the right thing!!!
