that's what I was thinking but how can I scan it?IE:
Tools > Internet Options > Connections tab > LAN Settings button > Check the Automatically detect settings button.
I don't have Chrome installed but I'd imagine it will be similar.
Also, if it all of a sudden changed and no one else uses the computer, I'd suggest a virus scan.
ok, ill try it out. thanks for the help!Thumb drive.
Have you gone into Chrome and checked the proxy server settings?well, it still cant connect after I installed it and did a scan....im out of ideas :/
sounds confusing XDHave you tried turning your modem off and on? Then if that doesn't work, re-configure your internet settings on your computer.
yes, I have tried to but every time I de-select the proxy, I go back in, and it shows a checkmark still by it -_-Have you gone into Chrome and checked the proxy server settings?

see, theres the problem. whenever I de-selected it, it would never give me the option to apply it I don't know whyIm pretty sure you can just go to the internet button on your computer and click "Forget this network" and then re-connect to it with your password & what not.
Also when deselecting your proxy, make sure you're pressing Apply & OK before closing the window.
If you're on a mac it's Chrome > Preferences > Network > Change Proxy Settings. It'll bring up the system preferences part there which allows you to enter proxy information.

no, I do not have that modeDo you have an option to use no proxy at all as a check box? I have "Use Passive FTP mode" checked on my computer. Different operating systems may have different options though.
