Computer Specifications

Hey all, I'm having a bit of a brainfart in figuring out how to find the specs on my laptop computer. I need to figure out what mainboard I have so that I can figure out where my sensor chips are. It's for Hmonitor.com that monitors the temp and other stuff. I tried searching online for the specs with no luck. I'm now trying to remember ways to find the specs on my computer.

Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information

Alternatively you could take a look at the Device Manager, which can be accessed from:

Right click on My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager.

CPU-Z might be an easier alternative. Download it, open it, and go to the motherboard tab. Something you should know is that if you have a premanufactured computer, chances are more than likely you wont have any type of tempurature monitoring.
