On Logitech's website they say the following regarding the DFP:

Shift gears up or down conveniently with easy-to-access shifters. Or use the paddles as L1 and R1 buttons and the shifter as L3 and R3 buttons.

I've read the manual, searched this forum and Logitech's forum and the Internet in general. The shifter and paddles share the same L1/R1 configuration. How do I change the shifter to work as the L3/R3 buttons?

Thanks.

It turns out the game I was trying to configure was made for the old wheel so it mapped the shifter, paddles, and L3/R3 buttons to L1/R1. The newer games that support the DFP separate out these functions.

I'm still a bit confused. Even on Toca 3, the paddles and shifter share the L1/R1 functions. Is it not possible to separate the shifter, paddles, L2/R2, and L3/R3 completely? Or do two of them always overlap?
