I've been having problems connecting to my friend's room after updating to 1.06. It keeps giving me the error incompatibility with room host [735]. Before the update i was able to join my friend's room without any problems.

Has your friend updated to 1.06 as well? If he's still on an older version that could be the issue.

I'd just like to point out, it's not possible to be using an older version online.
On topic, this is an odd problem, has nothing else changed at either end?

no changes have been made. I even tried opening the necessary ports twice. tried putting the ps3 in DMZ etc, still nothing has resolved this issue.
