Anyone else having problems with getting disconnected?
Several times now, during a race I see the other cars start
jumping forward and backward, gaining or losing several seconds,
next thing I'm disconnected.
My modem is 2 ft from my PS3, all connections are secure.

We all are having the same problem, EA just dont seem to have used a good server for the game and its a shame as NSF shift with out glitches would be super **** hot.

After reading a few of the various thread, I see that.
Sucks when you're winning a 10 lap race, with 3 to go :grumpy:

Its happened to me quite a lot today as well :grumpy:

Yeah it was as bad as I've ever seen it tonight Jamie. It was so bad that on the third race my whole PS3 froze up and I had to turn it off.

Man I don't know what the heck happens to this game sometimes... :grumpy:

i had dc's in open lobby races but not in races with you guys
i'm on a wireless system well to tell the truth it 02 wireless and it my neighbours i just give him £5 a month

l have seen these (symptoms) before
l believe it's server related from EA, whenever a new dlc add on or patch is released these connection and framerate problems seem to pop up. maybe they are tweaking the system to accomodate new data etc.
and l mean many EA games not just shift.
2008 the nfs pro street server went down completely for 2 WHOLE MONTHS shortly after a dlc was released. no online racing at all.
it was a dark and dreary time.
lets hope these dlc packages work out better.

looks like l was right, servers are down .
happy DLC release day everyone.:ouch::ouch:

I read about them shutting it down for maintenance.
What pisses me off,{not that it's that big of a deal}
is I found out every time I get disconnected, it adds a loss to my total :crazy:

I haven't been playing shif much this week(so i probably suck this week:dunce: )but today i went for some races with Jason and HOG and in 4 races(we were only three guys) there were D/C'S in everyone of them...:nervous:if this doesn't gets better for tomorrow i think weekly events might be a D/C's nightmare...:nervous: i'm beggining to hate EA this might be the last game i ever buy from them...👎

ignor my earlier post tonights a joke

That's all weird. Internet is kind a slow tonight. :scared: EA servers are kind for those who race 1 on 1 but in larger group YES it's nightmare

I should know better than to enter long races, with large lobbies.
Leading on lap 4 of a 10 lap race, and get disconnected.
##%$@!$%%%!!!!!
