I might have if I hadn't ran off track on lap 4 or 5, I lost about 6 seconds on that lap.
 
I know I had fun tonight. I don't know about anyone else. I walked out of the race with a well deserved finish.
 
I could barely keep up with the Camaro in the draft. I think the Subaru should be a little heavier- maybe 1410kg (from 1360) and get 430hp (from 425). When you add weight you take that weight and put it in the rear and it evens out the weight distribution better. As of right now it's around 56/44, pretty bad on those front tires. On top of the 4wd.
 
I was great on the corners but on the straights I was hopeless. I had fun today, raced with Mel and Seth for a few laps, as well, and I took a pit stop earlier than everyone else. That meant I got to set a fast lap while everyone else was in the pit lane, and it jumped me in front of Seth. It was then 13 laps of maintaining the gap, as I knew I didn't have to risk everything to catch Max. Good racing with you Mel and Seth, I had a few close calls with Seth, but no contact, and had a few hits with Mel here and there, but nothing too major. 👍
 
I chose the Subaru because I like Japanese makes, and the Z was a mess at these specs, or else I would have picked it. But those front tires go away much too quick. The rears could go the whole race, the fronts died in about 12 laps.

Ummm, you're welcome. Was my car not WAY too slow in the corners? Was it not WAY too fast on the straights? :indiff: I really do think that the cars could be more evenly balanced. Can we set up an F1 speed-trap test for GS?


This is one of the ways I balanced ITCC. At every track, I found the fastest spot, and looked at the top speed on the straights. As it is now, I think it's whoever's got the Camaro- Oops, I mean best car wins.
 
So if I run the Subaru at 1400some odd kg and 435hp, I was getting 1:36's in testing right after the race. Basically the same times as it was during the race with 425hp 1360kg. But the front tires aren't as taxed since more of the weight is shifted towards the rear.

I will look into specs. I think the Aston, m3 and 370 may need a bit of a boost. The Camaro may need a slight HP cut.

Yea, watching you and Tbw go at it for a half lap was pretty cool. I wasn't sure if you could pull off the 2 stopper, but Tbw made one or two mistakes and you had gapped him just enough!

So Seth, for the Subaru, -5 hp and +20kg?
 
I think the Subaru could do with better weight distribution, yes. DS3's can be very heavy on the fronts, so we don't want to put Seth at a disadvantage. Seems that Camaro is a bit fast, but I'm not doubting Max's driving skills. You guys decide what to do with it. Mel, the Aston should get less weight but also less power, to even out its difference in cornering speed and straightline speed. Although its weird that you always go for a car that's fastest in a straight line but not the best in cornering... meh. Your choice.

A idea I had last night, what if for season 2, for GS it was to Challenger TC and Camaro RM. ST could be the VW RM?

We could leave it as is too.
 
So can I finish the season here cause I thought I did great I didn't ruin any races and I didn't wreck Mel. To add to that tbwhhs and I had a great battle until we pitted.

Yea, we will go race by race. So that you can't get too comfy and go back to your old ways.
