Just got myself a 1080p flatscreen. Hooked up the ps3 with HDMI. Sound and Image is just great, except there's one not so small problem. I notice a small delay in display presentation. With means that there's a small delay in control input and actual reaction. And this means I almost have to learn to drive again..... '
Any ideas, anyone.....??????:guilty:

Thanks,
PeeWee737.

Check your TV settings and try to find "game mode" which minimizes the input lag of your display. It's naturally in TV mode which does something you wouldn't want for PS3, for example smoothening, denoising, sharpening. It requires some internall processor time and creates input lag.

On the same note, you might want to try to turn off all articifial picture improvements in the menu. And you should try another mode (1080i, 720p) and see if it works.

Maybe he thinks that because the STEERING wheel has a little delay when you go to COCKPIT cam, the game is delayed? If so its only wheel.. but it turns on dime if thats what you worry about.
