You may want to look into having your controller cleaned at a electronics shop.

Get a can of electrical contact cleaner, and give it a shot 🍻

Electric contact cleaner has saved so many headaches for me. I use it on my guitar for the volume/tone pots if they crackle, I saved a $3000 "broken and not worth repairing" Denon Hi-Fi setup that only needed the EQ sliders sprayed to fix the hum and pops. This stuff is great because it all evaporates so you can just spray the crap out of it and function whatever button, knob or slider until it works again. You probably don't even have to take the controller apart as it will work its way down there. I fixed a sticky R1 button this way.

Stick drift.....search on Google/Youtube, you'll find tons of info about it. It's such a big known problem the new Dual Sense Edge controller lets you swap out and replace the sticks when they wear out.
