Well since the Mile to Kilometer was good info thought I would also add this to support it. Many like myself in our respective countries use different ways of measuring such as power, torque ect.

1 Kilowatt = 1.341022 horse power
1 Newton Meter of torque = 0.737561 foot pound
1 bar of pressure = 14.50377 psi
1 Kilogram = 2.20462 pounds
1 deg C = 33.8 deg farenheit ( close enough :) )

Actually that is the number based off my conversion programme.

Unfortuneatly it does not give me the proper conversion formula for converting it long hand.

Good call though and thank you for adding that in :)

Yeah, Fahrenheit to Celcius is not an absolute scale...no easy conversion factor between them! Its scale was 0 and 100 (zero for freezing water, and 100 for boiling water). The two temperature scales were set at -40 degrees, the only place on the scale where F = C.

Oh, and I found a penny behind my computer...Countach fund is at $3.64. Maybe Jerry Lewis can help me out next year.
