I just wanted to share with all of you something that I am very excited about!

Me and my Executive Chef(i'm the Sous Chef, Sous means second in French)where chosen to cook a private dinner over at Adam Arrons home tomorrow in Beaver Creek, Colorado. Adam Arron, is the CEO of Vail Resorts (the company I work for, which is going to get very large, very soon, so watch the stock!) and is hosting a dinner party at his home for some very high profile guests. Included in the guest list is Vice President **** Cheney! Also scheduled to attend is the Prime Minister of France (don't know his name) and various other heads of state and company CEO's.
I wish I knew who else was on the guest list but it has been kept hush-hush. I am also curious what kind of security measures will be taken? As of now, none of us has been approached regarding any sort of security check. But on the other hand maby we have and we just don't know it.
I am just very honored to be chosen and to be involved in such an event.
I am not a very politically minded person so the guest list is of little importance to me. The most important thing to me is that me and my Chef were chosen to do such a special event for some very important people, based on our hard work and skill levels. We were chosen by Adam Arron because he knows what we are capable of and thats an amazing thing to know! It's a good thing to be on the CEO's good side!
I am positive that the event will go extremely well as we have prepared some exquisit food (Porchini dusted Filet Mignon and sauteed Fois Gras, Very Yummy)and we are well prepared. "Chance favors the prepared" right.

I will update all of you upon my return and fill you all in on how the night went.

Wish me the best!

Bush can run a three-mile race without him, though...eh, maybe Cheney better lay off the three-mile races.

Yes chance does favour the prepared. Best of luck, you deserve it after the ****kicking you have had from the fires. Don't burn the sauce, you know how fussy the French can be about their food!! :)

Cool, boombexus, tell us how it was afterwards ok?
A friend of mine is also a Chef, and he's a member of our royal Staff. That man has to prepare the most expensive meals and the strangest dishes:)
But he likes it very much, cause he's sort of friends with the royal family, they all know him by name and sometimes they come down to the kitchen to speak with him:)
