Opinion-wise, what's the coolest/best car names on the market?

Mine had to be this:

Post yours below!

Since one of the latest Cool Walls reminds me, I think Alcyone sounds pretty cool. Whichever pronunciation is used really. It's a funny word, it's so weird.

Europa is also very nice, as well as other Lotus cars such as Elise and Elan.

Oh and in before muscle car trim packages.

While not really "on the market" and a manufacturer rather than a model name, I've always liked the sound of 'Dallara Automobili.'

And then there's the Duster, which says everything you need to know.

De Tomaso Pantera sounds pretty cool to me, Lancia Fulvia and Stratos, Maserati Merak and Quattroporte and Renault Safrane aren't bad either.

You may also be interested in this thread if you are looking to refresh your memory.

Ford Scorpio
DeTomaso Pantera
Mazda RX-7
Buick LeSabre
Dodge Charger
Lancia Beta
Lancia Delta
Lancia Montecarlo

All score plus points from me.

Chrysler New Yorker
Chrysler Fifth Avenue
Chrysler Cirrus
Chrysler Valiant Volare
Chrysler Valiant Lancer
Chrysler LeBaron
Chrysler Town & Country
Chrysler Newport
Chrysler Chrysler

Do not.

Corvette Stingray, Viper, Charger, Challenger, Mustang. Muscle cars have good angry names.

Although TVR were probably the best for names, Chimera, Griffith, Tuscan, Cerbera, Sagaris.
Don't forget the Cobra. Also, Spitfire is a cool sounding name. And Commodore.

Well this isn't a car name, I like how the launch control on the Tesla Model S P85D (Which isn't the coolest of names) is called Insane Mode.

Blitzen, SVX (

), Vortex, Super Turbo, RX-3, Infiniti, Eunos, Evolution, 4Runner.

Al - sigh - uh - nee is the correct pronunciation.

I think the Aston Vulcan name sounds quite cool even if the car itself is polarising.

I always thought Cyclone and Typhoon were pretty cool.

TVR Tuscan, Cerbera, Griffith and Chimaera are pure badass.

Maserati Quattroporte Ottocilindri - only the Italian language can make "four-door eight-cylinder" sound so cool.

Lancia Delta HF Integrale. High Fidelity Integrated!

Cizeta-Moroder V16T (to give it the full original name) is a fave of mine, as is their logo.

Jensen Interceptor is a nifty name too.

A lot of muscle cars had fitting names. TVR usually had the most poetic, only Lamborghini could get away with calling a car the Diablo.

But nothing beats the Suzuki Every Joypop Turbo. Not even the Isuzu Mysterious Utility Wizard. Both of those cars have names which make me immediately want one in my life on those grounds alone, and not even the Diablo manages that.

TVR Chimera or most other TVRs I think have the coolest names.
