Copenhagen-Based Clothing Brand Bareen Announces Collaboration with Gran Turismo

Seems far more accessible of a clothing brand than others that have been collaborated with. Curious to see what the pieces look like! I know nothing about fashion brands.. Anyone have info on this brand?

I think that's great!
PD can generate additional revenue this way.
Especially with the World Series, but certainly also because of the many active players, it's lucrative for partners to invest.

And to be honest, there are no disadvantages for us as players. Then there's just a Bareen or Bvlgari VGT, an entry in Brand Central or the logo on certain in-game banners, shirts or so on.

But there are many advantages! PD is interested in driving the game forward so that they can continue to be lucrative for sponsors.

Is this more important for PD than adding endurance races & more single player race/championships to gt7?
Do you seriously think this agreement was signed by game developers? This is probably the work of the Dutch PD studio, which looks more like a PR / marketing arm of the company.

"it’s likely that the products will be more reasonably priced .... €24 ($26) for the socks to €147 ($161) for a fleece, and the company’s signature t-shirt coming in at €47 ($51)."

Andrew's world must be a wonderful and priviledged place where this considered 'reasonable'.

At a time when studios are closing down, AAA titles cancelled and thousands of devs losing their jobs. Is it too much to ask for people to look a little deeper into the business of video game development?

Or do we just to accept a section of the Gran Turismo community are completely oblivious to how PD fund and support their titles? Which is fine, but perhaps a little less entitlement would do us all some good. This is a business and if the numbers don't add up there will be no more Gran Turismo. Thankfully PD seem adept at providing free DLC and implementing commercial deals that don't negatively affect the player.

I'm sure from GT8 there'll be many more ways to financially support PD beyond your initial purchase. Then we'll see how many players are true to their word when saying they're willing to pay for additional content.

Current product prices range from €24 ($26) for the socks to €147 ($161) for a fleece, and the company’s signature t-shirt coming in at €47 ($51)."

Andrew's world includes adverbs and comparatives - and doesn’t dishonestly edit them, and the things being compared, out.

Go price up an ASSC GT T-shirt, or a BAPE x GT one, and then tell me which is more "reasonably" priced. I'd not be surprised if you could buy one of each item from the bareen collaboration for less than the cost of one single Dior GT cap.

The company was helped founded by the Danish version of the TV program the Lion's den.

They got a lot of succes by being part of the TV program, but their T shirt are also pretty good IMO.

I was right in the the target group for them. I dislike T shirt's whit all kinds of prints, and I dislike T shirts that are bad quality that becomes very stretched or lose all their color after a few washes.

The classic Bareen T shirt is of a pretty good quality, i have bought more of them as the years went by, but i still have some of those that are like 3-4 years old.

Also their initial product which was the classic T shirt cost about 27 $.

But yeah there are many more cheaper T shirts, but often they are vey bad quality, and there are certainly also T shirts which cost a lot more.

The "x" means multiply the price.

$50 is personally too steep for a T-shirt, no matter how you compare it to another collaboration. In an age where I can buy $15-20 T-shirts all day long, this is a hard pass.

I have loads of $10 T-shirts that have lasted 8-10 years, some older than that (though probably worn twice-monthly, rather than weekly). Quality is less of an issue rather than my tendency to accidentally stain it.

Nice try. The comparison has nothing to do with it, much as you would like to deflect focus to that. Tell people who can't pay their medical bills or rent, or groceries, all more numerous every day. These are a BARGAIN compared to all the parasitic luxury trash, and I'm sure they'll rush right out and buy five of them. That kind of comparison is a just a logical fallacy to divert blame from the object itself.

But then so is nitpicking sentencs stucture. If that is your excuse for a rebuttal, then the point is dead in the water.
