It's a good opportunity to catch up on my race replays though, kinda lost track after Saturday afternoon since I had saved like 15 replays in the last week.

lol welcome to our world... having to document everything so we can keep track of all that goes on... Remember Big brother is watching you :P (btw this is in reference to George Orwell's novel and not the modern day tv s**** that befalls us)

I really wish COTA was in GT6, it would be nice to race it with multi-class vehicles, I imagine loads of overtaking happening throughout.

This weekend without racing is making me uneasy, so I apologise for the short notice but;
there will be a test session tonight in my lounge, running from 2100GMT to whenever we get bored.
Hopefully we can get some time on track together and maybe some quick races together. It is open to all so even if you're not signed up for the Daytona race feel free to join.

I have to say my driving was awful during that session, making stupid errors that I would make a year ago.

I don't think any of us were perfect. The race is going to need a lot of patience, it's so easy to make a very costly mistake in these cars. Still at least it's harder to fall asleep at the wheel when you're in a perpetual state of terror! XD

On a more serious note; please ensure that you have run in your car so it can produce the required horsepower with the correct turbo.

The Sauber Mercedes has so far proved to be the most obvious case so if you're using that car, please make sure you're up to spec.

Turns out the Merc didn't need a turbo at all, must be looking at the wrong part, so nothing was wrong after all!

Specs state it's a default turbo, not stage 3 which I thought it was.

We are getting 1:27s my best was a 1:27.3 but since I didn't practice for 2 weeks after that so I I've slipped to 27.8s now, all of us are struggling to go 10laps without crashing!

Don't forget guys, the official test session is tomorrow night at 2100GMT. It would be good to get a large turn out since we've not seen many of the names here on track. Might be nice to get to know some of you before the racing begins.
