My plan is shorter races ~15laps, no pit required and about 3 tracks. Two of them I just created, so it will be fun to see some racing on tracks nobody (including me) has driven before

It was great fun last night. Thanks for hosting Third 👍👍👍 It was a shame I had to leave before the start of race 2, but I had to collect my son from his school winter formal party which finished at 10pm, so there wouldnt have been much point in me starting the race. The laps that I did before I left, on the 2nd custom track, I really enjoyed. It suited the Subura much better than the first track.

That's what I'm enjoying too, it's a 'photographers' dream to have a nice range of colours out there in the field! It looks really 'motorsporty'...is that a real word?

Yeah the cars really look the biz, proper racing spec and the colours are fab! Plus trial mountain is a pretty track so there was even more opportunity for you in getting some great shots!

Yeah, since we were running an endurance, I went for an older more 'realistic' NPS track, a one that I think I've only used once...

The Club Car felt at home during testing at Kielder GP and thought over the 2 hours we'd need a track in similar length as Trial Mountain and a track that wasn't too wild with massive elevation changes or loads of banking.

Lets hope for another close race like SE 1 👍

In other news, I'm hoping I can find a new new job before March as we've just been told we're going to a 3 shift system - 6 to 2, 2 to 10, 10 to 6 - Not that I'm happy with going back to nightshifts to start with, but a 3 shift system is just no good to my family life and the ability to even get to work for these times, one car you see and the wife works 9 to 5 (not to mention our Friday nights would be out of the window for 2 weeks at a time) I need back to a dayshift number!!!!

Hmm... Is it in your contract that they can change your hours? That's quite a difference...

Really hope that you get somewhere else to work! Fridays won't be the same

Unfortunately they can, I'm on a temporary contract, so they could do anything when/if they offer me a full contract.

Regardless of our Friday's, it's my homelife that it wouldn't work with, I'm desperate to find a dayshift/9-5 job! It's what I'm used to especially since we don't have kids and my wife works Monday to Friday too.

Yeah Friday nights are my wind down and I look forward to setting up a couple of hours racing to ease us into the weekend

And I don't know about easing into the weekend. Stressing into the weekend would be more fitting
