I've not been present in the preparation races but I'm serious about season 6 as the Zero Cup is pretty much dead.
 
Better late than never! I've FINALLY finshed work for the Hols!!! 👍

Oh flipping eck more DLC just purchased and I don't even like VWs! ;)

Ah well, all in the name of racing in the CORE on a Friday night, and I love it!

EDIT : this car had redefined my definition of understeer, OMG! Never known of a car that wants to plough on so much at the first hint of a bend lol! FF + 400+ bhp = interesting!

I was inspired Jammy by the GT24 series, plus I know what you mean with regard to the understeer, but this is the trade off, the 4WD heavier Golf R or the lighter FF Scirocco R, believe me though, after a bit of tuning, and some slight driving changes this should be an interesting race, as you know with any high powered FF or 4WD, the understeer is an element that you need to master :sly:

Oh by the way, I'm still undecided with what car to go with, they both have their pros & cons :lol:



...as for all the use of DLC at the moment, I just assumed as die-hard GT5 gamers everyone I'm racing with would have bought the DLC already :dunce: :eek:

Ah I see your inspiration there. We'll I overlooked the fact that did the golf was 4wd, completely forgot and it was only the scirocco that I tried. I'm not expecting anything amazing though, as in real life VAG 4wd systems (certainly at this end of the market) are not particularly sophisticated at all (a different world from a Mitsi Evo for example) and still promote an understeery sort of set up as little of the power goes to the rear normally. The Audi RS3 is a prime example of this, completely boring to drive with little in the way of driver feedback or excitement. I expect the golf to reflect this in the game....

Well as for DLC I would only traditionally buy cars that I like in real life hehe! But now I'm part of the racing series I'm happy to purchase as necessary. :)

If I may... (Omnius, I hope you won't mind :))

The Zero Cup is about to finish. Next week (2nd January) is its very last event.
So I invite as many as possible to come and celebrate the Zero Cup with a bang.
If you never participated to the ZC you're still welcome but I specially invite those who accompanied me over the last couple of years.

The car is a stock NSX Type R '02 limited to 295bhp on Sports Hard. The tracks are Fuji F and Mansory (custom, ordered and approved by Ade himself)

Please let me know via PM, PSN PM, post, SMS or telegraph if you're in.
We will be at least 3, let's make it 16... :)

Cheers Jammy. To tell the truth I would rather be racing with you guys, had way too much beer this week already. The thought of another night on the ale is makin my kidneys wave a white flag.
 
I'm afraid the race is cancelled due to my ill health, been getting worse since xmas eve, hoped it would pass but I've been laid up in bed most of the day, rather tell you all now than wait until 8 as I was hoping to be up for it but its not going to happen :(
