So, anyone on for def tonight? Ill most likely be on for a few hours mid evening after the cricket has finished if anyone will be racing.

Ok what I could do when we arrange races, I'll do a 2 tier style system, 2 'Short' races, then 2 'long' races? That way I'll cover both type of race and if you're into short tracks (with multiple laps) or Mini Enduro (40 mins to an hour) you are free to sit out on any of the races.

How many laps of what sort of tracks are we thinking?

I think 16-20 laps on a track as long as rome is about right for the smaller tracks. Dno how many miles that it but something along those lines i think are about right.

Also i think we should just put a PP limit on and as i suggested yesterday, open tyre choice.

That way you get people with quicker straight line cars, some with better turning cars and also the tyres factoring in too.

Quite a few turned in. Sweet, although, nurburgring. After playing this for a few days starting to think thats the only track on the game.

Quite frustrating that every time i overtook someone they quit. Im a lot slower than the top 3 or 4 so when the 3 or so near me quit i may as well quit too as i wont catch anyone then.

Gd racing Jhew and seanox though. Too quick for me

Just seen this thread, looks like everyone's having a great time, would it be possible for me to join in on the action? Im a clean racer....until some idiot rams me off the track. But by the sounds of it this is a place for clean racers...yay

Oh yeah forgott to say, my psn is; iiBAiiNESYx (my younger brother set it up for me, as you can tell,lol.) im 26 and cant wait for some clean, fun, entertaining races. I could do with some experience online aswell.

This sounds like loads of fun to me. Any chance you lot playing/siming/racing today? Or is maybe F1 in the way of that hehe. I race clean and fair and mostly out to have a good time. 35+ so my age should be ok =)

Welcome to both of you!

So if you are interested in some GT races, I'm more than happy to add you to our growing list of GT Racers out there and I'm sure the others will too. If you do add anyone, mention that you have joined through my CORE GT post and mention my PSN.

You will find that the skill level of everyone varies so there is no worries with being under class or of the pace as it were, I'm the one who started this by looking for good clean 'real' racers who apply themselves on the track as you would as if it were a real situation, this is no destruction derby!

I prefer longer races when online, but by all means post your prefered driving conditions/cars/tracks, that way (as you will see from the PSN list) if you add everyone who is in our group, you will have a pick of who you like racing with if they match your preferences on GT5.

Hi OmniusGT (and everyone else),

Thanks for adding me in, will for sure be around tonight (as you already know hehe). Thought I should add what I prefer driving, where and how =)

I prefer racing Touring/GT/RM/Race Car/LM type of cars under dry conditions, track doesn't really matter that much as long as it's not the N.Ring (I love that track but only when driving solo hehe). If I have to pick any fav. tracks it would be Tokyo reverse, Room reverse and Deep Forest.

Anyway, it looked as if we were in for some close racing if it wasn't for my connection problem!

Corn, remember on deep forest (i think it was that) when we all round the first turn tooooo fast, and you got some crazy ass wheel spin off that grass, and i swerved for you, hit an other car and we both got damage, was so funny

yeah that was crazy but all good fun. Normally most people including my self would back off a bit to make sure there is no crash but nobody did it was like everyone was super hungry for a win.

Me and dan69jz where like sooo close to each other that hole race it was insane, like we had some cord attached to us so we couldn't be more then 1-2meters away from each other. Was sweating like mad because every corner was on my limit of what I could do hehe. Concentrate!!! hehe good stuff

I'll not be around until after work, its good when you race other 'real' drivers compared to the AI, like you say, everyone is up for the win and on the limit, but can still race clean which makes for an exciting race!!!

I would agree there, you learn about 1000% more racing real drivers and its soo much more fun.

Haha ok, the both you cluttured up with work, im on my gap year from uni and my so called "part time job for now" is letting me have some holidays and not taking time off ;D
