Before I welcome all the new interested drivers - I think this was the 'regs' you were looking for - Standard CORE GT Series Rules
It can be accessed from the link at the top of Page 1. Anything that isn't included here is free to be used, like GTFlaw (geordie139) said ABS is allowed at any level.

"Welcome newcomers! I'm Stephen (OmniusALX) thank you all for taking the time to browse my thread here on GTP and for posting and expressing an interest in joining the series.
You will see we are a friendly and clean racing bunch of GT fans who for over a year have been here building on our community to add something that you don't find in open lobbies that GT5 *CAN* offer for the virtual racer.
A true to life (where possible) racing experience, from clean racing and driver conduct, to the understanding that not everyone will be P1 everytime, but being apart of a series with varying levels of skill allows for a very enjoyable evening of racing.

That makes 13 for the grid tonight 👍 That said we may have a 14th, from an old friend....Shin_Roh! Regardless if he can make it or not, for the benefit of the new guys, if you use a mic, to reduce any connection issues, we turn off our mics for the race, you are free to have you mic open during qualifying though.
As for race craft, remember if you do accidently take someone off, please allow them to retake their position, don't go racing off into the distance, and also if you are being lapped by a race leader, just let them past at the next safest point on the track, thank you 👍

Lol I'm no where near that 1:49's range don't have is much time as I would like to figure out a setup, spend so much of week qualifying guys and keeping stuff in order for the 2 leagues I run lol. Best I ran yesterday was a 51.6

Figured out why my NSX was driving like a bag of smashed crabs when I practiced.....I hadnt bought the racing hards, and was on sports.
All done now though, and just finishing running it in.

I'll be opening in around 10 minutes or so to let people join. don't be alarmed after everyone joins and I 'reset' the track for qualifying and timer countdown - this is due to a lounge bug that always puts the lounge host on pole regardless of Q time, but by resetting the track, it fixes the problem 👍
Also, when we do start the race, everyone remember the 'grip' level is different online to offline, so be carefull when braking for the chicane at the end of the finishing straight - * give room, where possible! * ...remember you can't win a race at the first corner, but you can lose one!

Well that was fun while it lasted! I was hoping to at least finish the race but no, a single bolt of lightening seemingly out of nowhere caused a power cut and ended my race!
A real learning curve though, I could keep pace towards the mid/ rear of the pack but then my tyres started to deteriorate and found it hard to keep on top of that. How many pit stop do you guys have in the race?

Loved it all the guys were a blast to race with and funny the whole race too. Still need to find a car for next wek though, not sure which car to choose yet. At least i started season on a good note.

Great racing tonight. Well done to King and Hill on their debut's, and welcome to all the new faces. Havin watched the replay now I am fairly convinced that the driving problems some of us suffered are due to front aero damage. In the replay my car had front left visual damage from fairly early on, which did not seem to affect the car at all. However on lap 16, I pushed too hard to beat Fuelmyfire into the second chicane, and went too deep and got damage to the front right. The car was not the same after that. I think that if you have impacts on both front corners in this car, its bag of smashed crabs time. It seemed to affect eveything from top speed to braking and turning. I retired due to not wanting to be obstructive to those who were racing. Looking forward to next week, and seeing what everyone brings.👍

Ah yes... I remember that. Seems weird to have that effect when there is no damage recorded. I also recall looking back at the sole remaining Team Green car and seeing aero damage which would explain it.
Also what kinda times are people doing at GVE-R in their Club cars? Really enjoying mine!
