Hey all,

I have a question about cornering. I play on a ps3 with a dfgt. I have been watching some hot laps on YouTube and I've noticed that when I drive I cannot get my car to turn as sharply or stop as quickly as they can.
I have been using setups either by Mr S, or on another forum.

Are there any suggestions/thoughts on what might be causing those two issues?

A video of your driving would help, and how far off are you?
It's probably just that they are alien fast and those guys are insane.

It could be different because of driving aids, ful sim off, tyre sim off, and setup. Can't say for sure which it is, it depends on the corner/driver in the video and how he compares to you.

What is your best time?
And how many laps are you running to try and get a fast time?
When I was doing TTs in GT4, I would set a fast time after about 50-100 laps.
If I came back to one of those times now then it would seems like the ghost car had racing tires on. Practice, practice, practice.

Also, you need to keep in mind that you're not supposed to decelerate before turning into the corner.

You want to decelerate whilst turning in and accelerate as soon as possible again. Let's use Suzuka as an example, quite a technical track.
