Have you tried copying an older save back and overwriting the corrupted data with a previous save?

Why not restore the backup, it's there on the PS3 ... so use it.

If you just delete your game save, it will automatically use the back up.

I was doing a hybrid so I deleted everything and I cant figure out how to put the back up I made on my laptop on to my flash drive

Why would you delete the backup file too?

I don't understand, you open the window and drag the ps3 folder you copied onto your pc back onto the main window of your usb. Is that what you mean't?
