I'm planning the photoshoot for today (Monday) 8/08. The room will be open 30 mins before with the # posted here. I'll send PMs to everyone to see who can make it.
I had this idea today so I'm going to share it to see if the interest is here for a Corvette photoshoot of all the generations. If this one is a success I would like to repeat the same for other manufacturers (VW, BMW, Ferrari, etc.)
Basically I have picked 12 Corvettes that I think cover all chassis and their racing counterparts in the game. The idea is to take all 12 Corvettes to 2-3 tracks and pose for various pictures (both rolling & stopped). Obviously we won't be able to fit all the cars into one frame but for a few pictures. However it would be fairly easy to have a bunch of variations with 4-6 Corvettes in frame from different years. I am open to ideas on how to matchup the cars for different pictures (old vs. new, RM vs. stock, etc.). The more the better.
I only suggest a few rules:
1) All cars must be bone stock (from the exterior). This means no aftermarket wheels, aero, suspension, or anything else that would otherwise make the car look like it has been modified from the showroom.
2) Paint chips should be stock, as in only the colors that the car comes with in the game. If anyone signs up and needs a stock paint chip for a Corvette I can send you one.
3) Mics are suggested to make the coordination of the shots easier, but not required.

2) Daytona Super Speedway
3) Grand Valley Speedway
(Open to change/suggestion, but I say no more than 3 tracks)

mon tues and wed work for me. After august weekends as well for other shoots.
Also I might be able to make it, I own every Corvette so a car won't be a problem. I think I'll go with the C1 though if I can. 👍
