Going onto Thomas' blog I read with interest they are now looking at recruiting testers for 3 way wheel test featuring the top 3 wheels named in the recent SRT 5 wheel shoot out namely both the Fanatec Porsche 911 Turbo S Clubsport Edition and Porsche 911 GT3RS Clubsport edition as well as the Logitech G27. I, myself would love to be involved to be honest. The offer of a 50% reduction on the Turbo S Clubsport Edition and RenneSport wheel stand I already own is very appealing. But equally intriguing is the statement "As a bonus you will get pre-production version of a new product for free long before release".

Could this be the first concrete indication of the development of a much anticipated and requested premium shifter from our friends in Germany. I for one certainly hope so.:)

It's probably a printed instruction manual for the clubsport pedals and turbo s wheel.

Nah

I expect "Performance Tunning Kit" for the CSP to be the next product and of course in wheels the other "Budget Wheel" they showed a long time ago that featured on the SRT show at one point.
Thats likely to come later this year unless they have dropped it.

As for comparing a Turbo S to the G27 well it easily offers much better features and Id say its likely about 80% of people that buy or indeed are interested in the PWTS do so for X360 support which we know the G27 doesnt support.

Hi you could well be right about the next product being the Tuning kit but would it require a long term beta test?

The budget wheel I expect them to release as I think for value for money it would blow everything on the market away and sell accordingly.

Your evaluation of potential and actual buyer of the Turbo S is accurate with regard to myself I would of bought a G25/7 if either had offered 360 support.

However having now bought and used the Clubsport edition of the Turbo S I would have to say I would now choose it over both of them despite its higher price.

blachul67, I just want to point out that the mod's aren't going to be happy that you made 4 post in a row. You're suppose to put them in one post.

:)

I hope the new Shifter if its true is both USB and for the wheel plug in (ps2 mouse plug i think)
