Dry Tarmak
This just came to me from watching the new video on the official website...

In PGR4, the game automatically tags your country of origin from your xbox dashboard (although you can change it in the game if you so wish) and its transposed everywhere in the game.

From Fan Flags, to Car insignia to the pilot's suit. When i first heard of that i though it was pretty useless a feature.. but when i started playing the game (read: racing), i kept on noticing all the flags from "spectators" and stuff all around the tracks, waving country flags.

It didn't take long to figure out that when you race online, each player's country is displayed on the track's Flags and so on..

Now, that's something that can make a big difference [visually] on any tracks (real or not), as well as on the cars.

I suppose its somewhat similar to the License Plate from the old Need for Speed games where you could write your name and such; so that when you'd race with friends, they'd know who's in front.

Visually speaking, its a little detail, but it somewhat turns into a gameplay element when its incorporated in the Multiplayer Aspect of the game; Having each car tagged with a country flag, and the driver's name (real name or PSN username) makes for an interesting way to identify drivers on the tarmak (instead of having the potential floating names most games have).

And i though PGR4 did it brilliantly.

Its hard to find a good picture on google, but this one clearly shows huge Japan Flags.
