I've said this in threads a couple of times before, but now I thought it'd be better to post it in thread form. ![Smile :) :)](/wp-content/themes/gtp16/images/smilies/smile.svg?v=3)
I reached A+ driver rating about a month ago (currently just shy of 55k) and I've been thinking about challenging for the S rank in FIA. Before my PS+ subscription, which I'll be renewing in a bit less than a month, ran out two weeks ago, I jumped into an FIA race for the first time to see what it's like. I was able to hold my own and had a good race against our country's championship leader, who's in the same split. Now, I know one round isn't enough data to conclude anything, but with only 17 A+ drivers in all of Greece I figured my chances to contend for at least a top 10 finish in Nations (which meets the DR/S requirements) are pretty good.
However, I had never wondered why there were no S drivers in Greece. They can't all be boycotting FIA, right? Well, I went to the star player page on the GT website and checked the requirements again. Aside from the top 10 Nations / top 200 Manufacturers requirements, there is also a list of eligible countries, and sure enough, Greece isn't there
So what's the reason for that? I know Italy had that problem in the past and PD made them eligible, so there must be a solution. Is the issue on my country's side or on PD's? ![Confused  ](/wp-content/themes/gtp16/images/smilies/confused.svg)
Note that I have no intention to participate in a live event because I play on a pad (and honestly even if I had a wheel I'd get owned anyway
) It's just that the letter S would look nice next to my name ![Tongue :P :P](/wp-content/themes/gtp16/images/smilies/tongue.svg?v=3)
