Hi Everyone! Just thought that I'd post a couple of setups designed for maximum speed on Test Course. Of course, there might be better setups, weird reactions within the car, or else I make a typo :nervous:. Feel free to comment, give advice, or just bag the setup! Anyway, here is my first tune. Note: The speeds are used in the 300mph club unless specified. I'll chuck in another one soon.

Audi R8: Non-Nitrous Setup

Go get an oil change, R5 tyres, and stage 4 turbo. Car should have 1112bhp.

Suspension:

Spring rate- 4.0/4.0
Ride Height- 105/55
Damper Bound- 3/3
Damper Rebound-7/7
Camber Angle- 0.0/0.0
Toe Angle- 0/0
Stabilisers- 3/2

Gears:

Set Auto to 25, then change following:

5th: 0.832
6th: 0.745
Final: 2.743

Other:

Downforce: 51/88 (increase front d/f 1 or 2 if you can't make the turn)
LSD initial: 60
LSD Accel: 60
LSD Decel: 5
Aids: TCS 1, ASM 0
(very basic eh?)

Notes:
Just go full throttle, take the corner as close to the inside wall as possible without hitting it. You should be at 292-294mph (470-473km/h) when you exit the corner. If you lengthened the gears, and used Nitrous, the car would wheelie!
Max speed: 310.39mph (499.5km/h). In case you question the car's ability, I have a video!
Enjoy!

Thanks. Now i'll put up another one, which I also used in the 300 club.

Gillet Vertigo Race Car '04

Go get an oil change, R5's, nitrous, and a stage 3 turbo, then the car should have 1008bhp.

Suspension:

Spring rate: 4.0/4.0
Ride height: 95/50
Damper B: 5/5
Damper RB: 9/9
Cambers: 0.0/0.0
Toe angle: 0/0

Gearing: (Use the tranny trick. Set final all the way to the right, then set auto to 25, then adjust the rest normally.)

1st: 2.669
2nd: 1.771
3rd: 1.171
4th: 0.692
5th: 0.564
6th: 0.493
Final: 4.523
Auto: 25

Other:

Downforce: 20/70
LSD: 5/60/5
Nitrous: 50
Brakes: doesn't matter...
Aids: TCS 1, ASM 0

Notes:
Find the optimum point to use the nitrous. This is quite a consistent setup, and used properly will reach 306-307mph, or 493-494km/h. Screenshot is here.

Enjoy!

Edit: I've improved this, so i'll change it this weekend.

I'll see what I can do, probably Saturday it'll be up. Never tried that one before, so I don't know what to expect. I'll do my best to tune it though 👍

Okay, here's your Ford Killer450235...

Ford GT '05
Picture1k.jpg

Buy everything possible except rigidity upgrade. Use a wing, and an oil change. Car should have 838bhp.

Suspension:

Spring rate: 5.8/6.5
Ride height: 132/73
Damper B: 3/3
Damper RB: 7/7
Cambers: 0.0/0.0
Toe angle: 0/4
Stabilisers: 4/2

Gearing:
Using tranny trick...
Final to 5.500, Auto to 1, Final to 3.000.
1st: 2.639
2nd: 1.811
3rd: 1.337
4th: 1.033
5th: 0.817
6th: 0.679

Other:

Downforce: 0/35
Aids: none.
LSD: 60/60/5

Notes:

Start in 2nd gear to avoid wheelspin. Use the nitrous very early, about 45 seconds into the run. If you're lucky, you'll get about 295mph, or 475km/h. Screenshot here but i've done slightly better since. The car does tremble a lot, which doesn't help the overall acceleration and speed. Just out of interest, has anybody done better?? :)

Enjoy!

I tried the striped Ford GT '05, with the same setup, but it didn't seem to go any faster. In fact, it was about 3mph slower with the extra downforce. Ah well, i'll keep working on it sometime.
