Imagine Speed, but with a bald English guy instead of a bus.
"If ya stop, ya die" simple idea for a film ain't it. Thats basically the plot (he's been drugged).Think Transporter, but with more style & less martial arts.

Jason Statham is the man in question, and he is pure class, as ever. He's a brilliant hard nut & has the excellent one liners. There's very little to say about this film. Amy Smart is his dopy girlfriend & she's great & amazingly cute. She steals all the scene's she's in.

If you enjoy brainless action films, this is one of the best ever made. The action is really good, more realistic than some, but also pure daft at the same time. As Jason('s character) has to keep his adreneline up, he thinks up all these ways of doing it & all result in something ridiculously entertaining to watch.

If you liked The Transporter or things like that, you should like this. Just got expecting a right laugh of a film & you'll love it.

8/10

I probably should've said this, but i really didn't like The Transporter. Transporter 2 was better, but still not that good. Crank is way more violent & much much better.

I like pointless action movies. The Transporter was a 90-minute film with about 10 minutes of (crappy) dialogue, but I loved it anyway. Crank looks like something I'd like, but I don't think I'll pay $9 to see it in the theater.

Just saw it yesterday

Was worth the $10.50 I might add

The one bit in china town was unbelievably funny, I couldn't stop laughing, till he cut some guys hand off

I for sure sure buying it when it comes out on BR!👍

Needlessly over-the-top, excessively violent, and random as hell; in other words, it’s awesome. And whether it was intentional or not, this movie was hilarious; some scenes had me laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe. Oh, and I loved the way the movie was shot; very Snatch-ish.

The most fun I've had at the movies all year. Seriously, go check this one out, guys.

"Dude, there's epinephrine in nasal spray."

I personally thought the movie was terrible. However it did have quite a few funny parts including the nasal spray pic above. The taxi part where he yelled "Alkida!!!" made me laugh hard too. But this is not a movie I would tell anyone to watch.

Lady_DA and I watched this over the weekend.

Not an enlightening movie, but very entertaining.

Pure action movie. Plot was mildly relevant, but entertaining nonetheless. I'll watch it a few more times on those rainy saturdays.

Loved every bit of this movie. Definitely reminded me of a video game with the opening sequence, the fact that he keeps needing to restore his health, the videogame-like death at the end. It definitely paralleled Grand Theft Auto a few times (the bike blowing up for no reason, the camera flyovers reminiscent of the early GTA games, and just the overall feel of how Statham ran from the cops.)

I find it impossible to watch this movie and not have fun. I'd go rent it right now, but I owe the video place about $7.00 in late fees.

 not one to watch with the kids, but very funny. For those who watched it, the funniest part for me was at the end of the elevator ride. The cinematography and the music was hilarious. The move kept me on the edge of my seat twice! I will gladly watch it again.

God, thanks for the spoiler!

Still, nothing but good about this movie in this thread. I think I'm gonna have to move it to the top of the queue on my Blockbuster Online account.

I so want to see this film again. Am sure i'm going to be dissapointed as i know i liked it, but not as much as i seem to have thought. OK that made no sense, but i know what i mean.
Must get this film!!
