Have you ever made a fictional advertisement for a car?
I was making an ad for the "Alpha" from GTA V, and came out with an idea:
Why not make a thread for car ads that you made up yourself?
Here's some common-sense rules to keep in mind:

Here's some common-sense rules to keep in mind:
- Keep it realistic: Don't make ads for cars that don't exist. Fictional cars that are made to the norms of reality (i.e. any car from Grand Theft Auto) are an exception, as they don't exist, but it is possible to make them in real life (example: A one-off version of the Bravado Banshee from GTA V has been built and registered in the US as it is realistic and can be made in reality).
- Try to make it like a poster, a billboard, or a page ad in a magazine/newspaper. These are the most common types of advertising.
- Add any information about the car required by law (fuel consumption figures, optional equipment disclaimers, etc.)
- Any ad on this thread that breaches the AUP should be reported. The AUP applies to this, and every other thread on the GTPlanet forums.
And here's some things to consider when making a good advert:
- Make it look attractive. Use a well-known character, try making a tagline, put the car in the spotlight.
- Keep all the details laid out properly. Don't obscure the view of the car or the surroundings.
- Keep it professional. Find the best view of the car that you can find.
Here's an example that I made myself: The Albany Alpha ad that I mentioned before, meeting most of the above guidelines.
So, let's see what you can do!
I look forward to seeing your best ads. I'll look at the ads that catch my attention, and tell you what I think: Whether it's amazing and unmissable, or if others could look past it: I'll let you know if your ad needs a few adjustments.
