Just wondering if someone can help. Just brought the crew chief app does the spotters voice only come though my phone? And not though the game and TV?

^that's correct. The game/PS4 pumps out game data (via UDP) to your phone where you have Crew Chief installed. Crew Chief lives entirely on your phone and cannot "send back" any data/voice etc. to the game/PS4. Everything is working correctly.

If you want the Crew Chief "voice" to come out of some other device, you'll need to explore Bluetooth options.

You could try connecting speakers to your phone if you need the Crew Chief to be louder. I use a single headphone ear bud which works for me.

Thanks for the replys. I use my headset 99% of the time so I'm not going to hear it. My fault for not reading it before I brought it. only £1.99 so no harm done

I have my headphones plugged into my ds4 while playing pc2. So I guess crew chief wouldn't work for me. There's got to be a work around as I was considering downloading crew chief. Maybe I'll download the lite version see if I can figure something out.

I've got the Sony pulse headset that also has a headphone jack so I'm going to try that but I have a feeling they will cancel each other out

Before I brought it said in the reviews it works with pc2 but I've just tried and can't get it to work but that might be me just being stupid at working out how it works

Just been messaging around and if you set it to pc1 in the game settings it works

Yes, like the other apps. It works using pc1 setting and frequency. Looks like the only way ps4 users can use it is without headphones because it's installed on our phones or tablet which sucks.

Uhh..well damn. That's an excellent idea.

The Turtle Beach Stealth 400 PS4 headset has a minijack input which you can plug the phone into. I have one, and it works perfectly. The sound from the phone is mixed with the sound from the game.

I purchased a blue tooth speaker and just turn it up until I can hear it over the game volume. Not so good if you have to play quiet because of others though.

Logitech G933 Artemis headphones will also mix the volume between Crew Chief and game. USB dongle for the game sound, and 3.5 mm cable from phone to headphones. Works amazingly well.

If your headset' s mike works without a DS4 & has an audio jack, you are good to go. If your group uses Discord or Skype etc. You are also good to go with headset only. PS-3 headsets require an earbud solution, (no audio jack)
