Hello,

As posted on another thread, I confess that I am not completely happy with my Purchase of CSL Elite wheel with the standard P1 rim. Maybe I was expecting too much but I feel the wheel being bit sluggish and not very reactive against over-steer situations.

I am considering to buy a Thrustmaster TS PC wheel instead since its damn cheap here in japan these days but would like to keep my FANATEC CSR pedals (Non ELITE, Non Load cell) since they are still running strong.

Do you know any product/adapter that would allow to get them either connected to my PC via USB?

what about connecting them directly to the Thrustmaster wheelbase through the RJ12 port hoping that the signal woudl be recognized?

Not very optimistic it woudl work that way lets be honest so maybe getting a board between the TM wheel and the pedals to get them to work together?

any advice/guidance is appreciated.

thanks so much

Olivier

you probably did not change the settings on the steering wheel. put . (FF100) - (for 100) -
(dri off) (dpr off) (spr off) (fie 010) . This wheel is much better and stronger than tm.
If you need high speed steering, then change the drift settings to DRI+1 +2 +3 +4 and you will be surprised at its speed! take care of your hands.

coming from the FANATEC CSR, you can guess that I am familiar with the on wheel tuning possibilities and you should have also guessed that I tried almost all combinations possible to make me feel comfortable with that wheel.
Fact is that I am not alone to find the CSL Elite rubbery and sluggish especially in combination with the standard, and heavy, P1 rim

anyways, back to my OT, I have decide to buy the TM TS PC racer and loving it, if does tick most if not all the boxes the CSL couldn't. And that puppy has plenty of torque you have obviously no idea or way of comparing like I did

and I decided to buy the FANATEC Clubsport USB adapter which actually works with my CSR pedals that I am now using as standalone on the PC

can not be happier

I understood you! But it is ridiculous to me from your text that TM gives you more power))))) this is amazing of course. But I do not believe in this nonsense! Of course, you judge and you might like it that way, but most people would choose exactly Fanatec.

I respect your opinion if you like the CSL Elite thats your call. But you need to be prepared to hear other views from people who actually prefer the TS PC. at the end of the day, we are all different but what really matters is that we all enjoy simracing
