custom gearbox problem

Guys,

when i bought the custom gearbox, the one where you can adjust the gears it is only possible to adjust the final drive ratio not the individual gears itself.
I know that in previous Gt series you could adjust the seperatly but now this option seems not to be in the game.
Is this suppose to be normal or am i doing something wrong?

Again, i can adjust the final ratio but not the gears itself....

Search. Been discussed hundreds of times. And you're not adjusting final drive, your adjusting gears. Still a horrible system.
