Custom liveries in Sport mode?

Am I too stupid to figure out how to do this, or is it impossible to use custom liveries in Sport mode?

I spent half an hour making a really cool authentic police car livery for my group 4 Porsche Cayman, but it seems I'm only able to take part in the Suzuka Sport event with the boring default grey/yellow livery.

Same question, can't see a published livery on the list.

You can use custom liveries in Sport mode, but only in races that permit you to use a 'garage' car that you own. Just load the livery onto the car, and then choose it from your garage. The preview pic should show it correctly

One thing I noticed is you can't paint 'sponsored' cars. You have to buy them outright to be able to do it, as far as I can tell.

Yeah, I'm glad the current Sport events allow garage cars. I hope that's how the system will always work in the future.

Does anyone have a Mitsubishi Lancer? Can one with a custom livery be used in the current N300 race, or is that one fixed to the factory colors?

Its a given car race so no custom livery

Yes, looks like you're right. For GT3 and GT4 I have sponsor's car, so it cat be painted yet. And Mitsubishi doesn't allow for garage cars.. So we'll see. Thanks!
