Hey guys,
I don't know if anyone here has suggested this already, but I want to bring it up myself.
As we know, we hardly make the amount of money that we make in the 60 minute race in Spa with the same settings in a user created race, only around 50% with GT3 cars, maybe a bit more.
However, I have a solution to that.
Let's say you're adding 4x fuel consumption and 6x tire wear to your event. For every X of both, the payout should increase by 5%, as it makes the race harder and therefore worth more cash. In this particular case, it would be a 50% increase in cash payout.
Enabling penalties should have an effect as well. For Strong cutting penalties, you should get a 20% increase, for collision penalties a 10% increase, and for penalties at the pit lane, another 10%. Adding higher payout for enabling wall collision penalties would be too much, as most tracks don't have any walls to hit.
Not only would this make Custom races worth their time setting up and playing, but additionally, this would add MUCH more variety to the game, as you can play endurance races on any track, with any car, with any duration, and still make it worth your efforts. And also, you don't have to stick to some crazy money glitch method to make money because there are no new endurance events forthcoming and you have to resort to extreme measures. No, you just pick a car, set up your event, play it, and make money that way, the way it's supposed to be.
Wouldn't this be a great feature for the next big update?
