cheers!

Things are looking good for the team! The server has been streaming with applicants all this week, and I have seen some nice tandems going.

I would like to remind all applicants to check if they can make Sunday's 6:00-8:00PM GMT+0 Tryout session. All applicants are free to come and practice with us until then, but the tryout will have (hopefully) all four mangers observing each driver's drifting level, and relationship with the group.

During the tryout we may ask certain drivers to start a tandem with another driver, so now may be a good time to brush up on your tandem skills.

We do not plan to accept everyone onto the team, you must all prove to us that you deserve a place. We respect that everyone makes mistakes, and we do not want to try and pressure you during the tryout, as we want to see you at your best.

If you do not pass the tryout, you will be dissallowed from future team lobbies, so this is your chance to get in.

Some drivers may be recalled for a second chance if we see good potential, helped with the tips for improvement we will leave you with.

Good Luck
and
Happy drifting!!!

Chris.

It's nice to see you have an interest.

First things first, understand the basics, practice throwing the car off it's balance into corners, turning the opposite direction to the upcoming corner, before turning full lock the other way to kick the car into a slide.

Then start learning how to tune your cars, and being able to know how your going to fix a problem (e.g lowering your front toe angle to stop the car understeering).

Just try out different things, you can never improve by listening to others alone, you must have a go and understand the skill yourself.

Chris.
