D1GP singles tournament?

What if I hosted a 16 person 1v1 D1GP tournament? 👍 or 👎

It would follow D1GP rules & regs, you would need to qualify for a slot, comfort hards only.. then the rest is pretty much self-explanatory.

Teams could enter, but like I said only 16 will make it and it's every man/woman(gonales) for themselves.

Just a thought.. show of hands?

32 qualifiers >> 16 accepted
makes more sense rather than sitting on my booty watching some 400+ drifters qualify, waiting for the glorious 16 to emerge lol..

Any thoughts on how we could get a competitive 32 qualifiers? maybe nominations? or should I just take a few hrs out of each day that i'm online and search?(cause that's the same as waiting for 16, just a larger margin) ...need ideas... AND a judging panel lol.

The D1GP is already running. It starts this weekendl Most GTP drifters are either in that, the team tournament or 1v1 battles and have no time for another. Maybe later. But as advicro said judges are VERY hard to come by. I know from experience, encouraging people to judge is like banging your'e head against a brick wall

bop aint too bad on gt5 drift for a forza player (if he is 1).. Ive drifted with him and he is followable! That means he can keep a decent line so its cool, not a waste



YO BOP, startin a tourny like that(through gtp) aint the way man..ive thought it over and if u do it like that it always takes forever with preparations, time zones that dnt fit the contestants etc etc.. short tournies is the way, when theres already a lobby up and u just start it if the ppl want

And Kurb I used to drift with a crew I started named WBN(Winners By Nature) on forza 2, only got a taste of forza 3.. then Gt5 came out haha.

However yea I'm down to start it up! I guess I'll just have to set up a room and qualify ppl that way.
