Hello and Welcome to the first round of the D1GTP.
I know GT5P makes it harder for us drifters but hopefully you will have fun.
The system may change for next rounds if people want to.
Yes I took this shot
Round 1 SUZUKA
The course being used is the D1GP course, so reverse from Dunlop to S-Curve.
The judging criteria used is going to be exactly the same as the D1GP.
JUDGING:
Here is a video for details (I know it's in Japanese but it's quite clear, ask me any questions for further judging criteria):

The video clearly explains the lines you should take and the clipping points, I will also be looking for stylish switchbacks after turn 1 and dirt drops are good for style here as well.
Noise is also important, through turn 2 there must be a smooth sound, throttle blipping may reduce your chances of getting a perfect run, smooth sound.
One wheel on the inner curbs at turn 2 and 3 are necessary for a perfect run.
RULES:
Here is the course:
You must start from a standstill just before the Suzuka West section.
To get to the course don't go the normal way, drive in REVERSE to it as the camera angle for judging is much closer to the real thing.
You can run this event in either Suzuka RWD Expert and then Free Trial mode or Arcade Time Trial, but with Arcade you will have to use a stock car.
You may do as many runs as you want and pick the best one to enter.
Physics MUST be Professional.
CAR SPECIFICATIONS:
You may choose any car apart from Concepts and the F2007.
Drivetrain is up to you, if you wish to drift in a 4WD or FF car like some people do in the D1SL, Divisional and MSC in Japan then its fine, but same judging criteria applies.
Max tires S3.
Any other modification allowed.
SUBMISSIONS:
To submit you must film your run in two views from start to finish:
Normal Replay Cam
Roof Cam with HUD
You can then upload your video to youtube or vimeo and post it in this thread, then a subsequent for judging will be made where each person can judge the other entries.
All submissions must be posted by the 14th of November 2009 at 23.59 GMT.
If there are any details missing don't hesitate to ask. This is a learning curve for me aswell.
Remember, this is just for fun!
