Best looking Daihatsu I've seen. I didn't click on the link so kinda curious, why is it called de Tomaso??
It's easier to click on the link than ask after why.... but here's why

" ...... In the Japanese domestic market this version was named in honor of Italian ex-racing driver Alessandro deTomaso (the previous owner of Innocenti, who had worked closely with Daihatsu), including a racing-derived camshaft, and was capable of 124 PS JIS (91 kW) in the Japanese market. [].... De Tomaso also added their own bodykit, Recaro seats, a Nardi Torino steering wheel, and Pirelli sports tires. .... "

Ahhhhhhhhh, that's why......thought maybe this was mid-engined, like a Pantera. :D

Voted!
It is interesting and also damn fast for a small car.
Yes, it's , and don't forget it's an old small car too :) I don't know but I think it's was one of the fastest "polo-class" cars that was made in 1993. Yes Micra SuperTurbo and Toyota Starlet Turbo S was first but but still :P

The standard old Charade was a very mundane city runabout but this car is just crazy. Would be a rabbit at the traffic lights against a few modern hot hatches:tup:.

Voted. What Daihatsu need is an attention. This model (or regular GTI) would finally give it a dose it really deserves.

Yeah I all with you guys :) Daihatsu need more attention it's not only low performance cars at all, many good ones too
