Golf cart.

Parking meter maid attendant.

Grounds-keeper vehicle for narrow places.

The only pickup truck in the Gran Turismo series!

I suppose the point of the car is to drive you mad and waste money and garage space. It takes about 100,000Cr to fully-tune it and boost the Midget II to 82hp.

And even with that whopping 82hp going through the rear (I think) wheels, it still struggles to accelerate up hills.

Daihatsu needed to sell Midgets, and figured a good way to do so is to put the Midget II in the game.

Daihatsu tried to sell their cars in the U.S. between 1990-1993 (?), a very short span of time to sell cars in this country. Nobody wanted another small, underpowered car. I know that's a help in Japan, where taxes on automobiles and fuel cost a pretty penny. But not here.

if it weren't for the midget, I don't know what i'd do! I mean, it takes corners like nothing else, even though it avarages at like 80mph, its for the ruff and tumble mr. beans. :)

it's there for the same reason as the Espace F1, Fiat 500R, and Subaru 360: none at all!
PD had space on the disc, and they're better than nothing (but not better than Pontiac, Oldsmobile, or Italdesign).
Mr.Bean's car only had 3 wheels .

Espace F1? What's that?

Espace F1 is a renault van. Apart from the price I like it. High revs like the calibra and 155 touring cars

I tried the Midget. It's only good against slower FF cars though. That's a horrible thing to drive, I'd rather avoid buying that thing again!

this car is here to laugh at when we are pissed of from going crap in GT2...
Now come on, Daihatsu Deserve credet for buiding this car!?

That has to be one of the cars that I haven't driven in GT2. Although I have seen a few of them on the roads in London.

You aren't missing anything. You can't modify the horsepower or transmission elements of a Pruis at all.

One gear. 63hp. Need I say more?

It makes for an interesting hybrid car though; putting a Speed 12 engine in the Prius makes it sound like a loud vacuum cleaner. And it's surprisingly stable for an FF car at 180mph.

One gear?

It isn't one of those CVT transmission thingys, like the honda jazz.

Although that is in GTC it isn't half bad to drive, but it is so effin odd using 1 gear.

Yup, CVT. It's surprisingly flexible in the Prius, but you have to play catchup with the rest of the cars. Basically, it's good for winning about 3-4 races, like the Midget II. Not much fun.
